ADA Compliance in Schools: What's Required?
Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act requires all state and local government entities — including public schools and universities — to ensure their programs, services, and facilities are accessible to people with disabilities. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act extends similar requirements to any institution receiving federal funding, which includes virtually all public and most private educational institutions.
