Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the status of each learning outcome calculated?
Status is calculated automatically from the current score versus the target: Exceeded (≥110% of target), Met Target (100–109%), Approaching (80–99%), In Progress (50–79%), At Risk (1–49%), Not Started (0%). The dashboard and alert panels update in real time.
What does the At Risk alert show?
Any outcome where a student's current score is less than 50% of their target score is flagged as At Risk and listed in the red alert panel at the top of the page — so you can prioritise intervention immediately.
Can I log multiple pieces of evidence per outcome?
Yes. Each time you edit an outcome, fill in the Evidence Note field and click Save Changes — a new dated entry is appended to that outcome's evidence history. The evidence count in the table increments with each entry.
How do I filter outcomes for a specific class or term?
Use the filter row above the table to filter by Subject, Grade, Term, or Status. The search box also searches across student names, outcome text, and standard codes simultaneously.
What does the PDF report include?
The PDF report (A4 landscape) includes a summary panel with total outcomes, met/exceeded count, at-risk count, and average achievement percentage — followed by the full filtered outcome table with status colour-coding.

"The At Risk alert is exactly what I needed. It surfaces students who are significantly off-track in one glance rather than me scanning rows in a spreadsheet. I now review this at the start of every week."

"We use the standard code field to map outcomes to our national curriculum references. The CSV export goes straight into our reporting system. Saved our department about two hours per half-term on progress tracking."

"Being able to log dated evidence notes against each learning outcome has been invaluable for SEND reviews. The evidence trail is right there when parents or inspectors ask for it."

"I recommended this to twelve subject leads as a zero-setup alternative to our clunky MIS for in-lesson tracking. The PDF report is clean enough to go straight into a parent progress meeting."
