What School Administrators Are Saying
Trusted by lecturers and students across Sri Lankan universities
"This tool replaced three separate Excel sheets we were maintaining. The chronic flagging is accurate, and the PDF report is something I can hand straight to the school board."
"The At Risk flag is exactly what we needed — it catches students before they tip into chronic territory. We intervene earlier now and our end-of-term numbers have improved."
"Very useful for our weekly attendance meetings. I export the CSV and it feeds directly into our reporting system. The chart makes presenting trends to staff straightforward."
"I run this every two weeks to catch struggling students early. The insights section highlights exactly who needs a parent-teacher meeting and who just needs a gentle check-in."

Chronic Absenteeism — Theory & Formulas
The metrics powering this identifier
Calculated per student against total instructional days in the term, including both excused and unexcused absences combined.
At Risk: 7% ≤ Rate < 10%
Chronic: 10% ≤ Rate < 20%
Severe: Rate ≥ 20%
Based on widely-used US Department of Education thresholds. Custom chronic and severe thresholds can be set per institution's policy.
A class chronic rate above 10% signals systemic barriers requiring school-wide intervention, not just individual student support plans.
